Robert Lee Patsy

Robert Lee Patsy, 83, of South Beaver Twp. and formerly of Big Beaver Boro., passed away Saturday May 4, 2019.

Born September 3, 1935 in Bradys Bend, PA, he was the son of the late Leo and Blanche Weibel Patsy. Robert was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Class of 1953. After high school he served in the United States Marine Corps from 1953 until 1957 where he held the rank of Corporal. He was employed at the former Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products Company for 34 years and retired as a general foreman in the Fittings and Forging Department. After he retired he began painting houses and was a courier for First National Bank of Pennsylvania. He was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church, Beaver Falls American Legion Post 261, Ducks Unlimited, and the NRA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, William J. and Elva Klein Patsy.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Elsie Young Patsy, two sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert Y. and Julie Patsy, Macedonia, Ohio, Kevin L. and Susie Patsy, Beaver Falls, a daughter and son-in-law, Lori A. and James Fitzgerald, Darlington, PA. a brother-in-law, James A. Young, Beaver Falls, two sisters-in-law, Doris Perry, California, Vivian Steffler, Nevada, eight grandchildren, Emily (Michael) Pisano, Wampum, Alexandra (Rob) Boles, Texas, Sam Patsy and Nolan Patsy, Colorado, Gabby Patsy, Ohio, Molly (Marcus Åström) Fitzgerald, Sweden, Megan (Corey) Weber, Beaver Falls, Robert Fitzgerald, Darlington, five great-grandchildren, Hayden, Charlotte, Cole, Layne, and Cohen, and several nieces and nephews.

As per Bob's wishes, there will be no public visitation. There will be a Memorial

Mass on Thursday May 9, at 10 a.m.  in St. Monica Parish, 116 Thorndale Drive, Chippewa Township with Father William Schwartz as celebrant.

Members of the Veteran’s Honor Guard will meet at 10:45 AM at the church to provide military honors.
