Willard Joseph “Joe” Tress, 81, of Darlington, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in Good Samaritan Hospice.
Born September 16, 1937 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late John and Helen Davidson Tress. He was a member of St. Monica Parish and was the owner and operator of Tress’s Annex in Beaver Falls. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Sean Tress, his daughter-in-law, Marianne Tress, a brother, Thomas Tress, and a sister, Helen Maie.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Antoinette “Toni” Davis Tress, seven children and their spouses, Scott Tress, New Galilee, Russell and Chris Tress, New Castle, Becky and Skip Freed, Enon Valley, Mark Tress, Beaver Falls, Kathleen Holliday, Beaver Falls, Debbie Boggs, New Castle, Connie and Jeff Harrington, Beaver Falls, numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, a brother, Ed Tress, and three sisters, Patricia Denman, Eileen DiFonzo, and Evajean (Jim) Morris.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., 3801 Fourth Ave., College Hill, Beaver Falls, where the Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Father Kim J. Schreck officiating. Private Interment in the Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery, New Galilee.
