Big Beaver

Edith C. Greco, 93, of Big Beaver, died Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born July 5, 1925 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick “Heiney” Usselman and Irene Close Usselman.  She has been a member of the former St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Beaver Falls. Edith had been an avid bowler and was in a women’s league at Sims Lanes, and she loved country music and she enjoyed singing.  She was a passionate Pittsburgh Pirate fan with her own leaf on the wall at the Bill Mazeroski statue at PNC Park.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Viola May Greco, a son-in-law, Ben Carroll, six brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, William E. Greco, three children, Marilyn Carroll, New Martinsville, WV, James and Debbie Greco, Patterson Township, Sharon Jennings, Chippewa Township, seven grandchildren, Shawn Kelly and his wife Angie, Tracey Jacobs and her husband Jeff, Shad Greco and his wife Heather, Ryan Greco and his wife Rebecca, Ashley Finch and her husband Jeff, Tara Miller and her husband Gerald, Brian Thomas, 11 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and a brother, John Usselman.

As per her wishes, there will be no public visitation and she will be cremated.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, if desired to Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023
