Obituary
Anthea “Toni” Markusic, 81, of Chippewa Twp. passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.
Toni was born on October 15, 1941 in Beaver Falls to the late Vincent and Felicia (Cieslak) Prusick. She was a member of St. Augustine Parish, Chippewa Twp. She was a loving and caring mother that dedicated her life to her daughters especially, Annthea “Toshie” Markusic, who had spina bifida and needed much care. She also worked at the former Kroger’s in Beaver Falls.
Toni loved gardening, dancing and country music and she collected antique baby dolls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Markusic, 2010, a daughter, Annthea Markusic, 2009 and a brother, Daniel Prusick.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Michelle Reed, Chippewa Twp.; a sister, Linda (Richard) Brzezinski, Georgetown, TX; a brother, Dr. Vincent (Paula) Prusick and a sister-in-law, Alice Prusick, all of Traverse City, MI; many nieces and nephews; good friends, JoAnn Lako, Richard Lako, Bonnie McFadden, Herc Platts and many other friends.
All arrangements were private as per Toni’s request.
