Arthur Scott Herrmann

Arthur Scott Herrmann, 30, of Chippewa Twp.  and formerly of North Sewickley Twp., passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

Born December 31, 1991 in Brighton Twp., he is the son of Fredrick & Patricia (Fray) Herrmann of North Sewickley Township.   He was a certified Water & Sewer Operator, having worked for the North Sewickley Twp. Water and Sewer Authorities as well as JMT in Robinson Twp.  He graduated from Penn State University, the Behrend campus with a degree in mechanical engineering technology.  He was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church in North Sewickley Twp.  Arthur enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially rock climbing, kayaking, and playing disc golf.  He also loved playing board games with his family and being a fun uncle to his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law: Samantha Herrmann Walsh & Devin of North Sewickley Twp., and their children Nathaniel and Eloise; Joetta Herrmann Vroman & Benjamin of Centerville, PA; and their children Violet, Elijah, and Scarlet.  He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Belva Herrmann of North Sewickley Twp.  He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Collen & Joseph Flecher of Ellwood City; Gary Fray of North Sewickley Twp.; Carol & Dr. Frank Kunkel of Pittsburgh; and Sandra & Andrew Sprankle of South Beaver Twp.; in addition to several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Herrmann and maternal grandparents, Edward & Stella Fray.  He was also preceded in death by an aunt, Marian Fray, and an uncle, Arthur Fray.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 11 at the Concord United Methodist Church, 285 Concord Church Road, Beaver Falls, PA; from 10:30 AM until the start of the celebration service at 11:00 AM, with Larry Bettencourt officiating. A luncheon will follow.

Memorial contributions may be made if desired to the Moraine Preservation Fund, 118 North Shore Drive, Portersville, PA 16051.
