Burt E. Garmen

Burt Garmen, 84, of New Brighton died Thursday November 4, 2021 in his home.

 Born April 12, 1937 in New Brighton, Burt was the son of the late Robert & Thelma (Dixon) Garmen. He faithfully attended  the Life Family Church New Brighton where he enjoyed attending the Coffee Klatch Bible Study, attending the monthly Men’s dinners at the New Brighton Methodist Church and meeting monthly for lunch with the retired guys from Koppel Steel. Burt especially enjoyed fishing and gardening. He retired from Koppel Steel as an inspector after many years of service.

 In addition to his parents, Burt was preceded in death by his first wife Janet L. (Huffman) Garmen in 2006 and a brother Richard Garmen.

 Burt is survived by his wife Eileen Joyce (Beitsch) Garmen; three sons and daughters-in-law - Jeffrey & Robin Garmen, Collerville, TN; Bruce & Sherri Garmen, College Hill; Curtis & Michelle Garmen, Patterson Township. Three step-children Wendy Dugan, Marlynn Gibson, and Terri Baker. Seven grandchildren - Ashley & John Edmonds, Kyler & Aubrey Garmen, Shelby Garmen, Christopher & Sarah Garmen, Tony Garmen, Andrea & Zach Watt, and Jason Garmen &  Maria Abraham. Three great grandchildren Jacob & Dylan Garmen and Hudson Edmonds. And numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; brothers & sisters-in-law - Robert & Mary Garmen and John & Betsy Garmen.

 Friends will be received Monday, Nov 8, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.

A funeral service will be held at the same location on Tuesday, Nov 9 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Sam DeMarco officiating. A private interment will be held at the Concord Church Cemetery, North Sewickley Township.
