Carol Ann McLean, 81, formerly of College Hill, currently resided at the Beaver Falls Plaza, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Heritage Valley, Beaver surrounded by her family.
Carol was born on June 14, 1940 in Beaver Falls to the late Edward C. Braheny and Dorothy M. (Crawford) Lintz-Braheny. She was a 1958 graduate of Beaver Falls High School. Carol served our country from 1959 to 1963 in the Women’s Army Corp. She was a 35-year member of the Beaver Falls American Legion Post 261 and a member of the former St. Philomena Roman Catholic Church, where she retired from in 2012 after many years as a housekeeper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. McLean, 1995 and five brothers, James, David and Joseph Lintz and Raymond and Daniel Braheny.
Surviving are her four children, Mary Ginand and John, Beaver Falls, Carrie Ryhal and Michael, South Carolina, David McLean and Kathy, New Brighton and Laura Harsh and Eric, Beaver; eleven grandchildren, Michael, David and Emily Ginand, Kaitlin (Ryhal) Varghese, Kristen Ryhal and Michaela (Ryhal) Sousa, MacKenzie McLean, Lacey Shade, Peyton, Channing and Harper Harsh; a great-granddaughter, Avery Ginand and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the Blessing Service at 6:00 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME. www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801 Fourth Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls. Private interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
