Chester T. Carver, 94, of West Mayfield passed away Thursday, November 25,2021 at Cambridge Village.
Mr. Carver was born on September 30,1927 in Monaca. He was a son of the late William and Nellie (Cusick) Carver. Prior to his retirement in 1987 he was employed as a shipper for the former Babcock and Wilcox Tubular Products, Beaver Falls Division. He proudly served our country with the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of the former Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church in Darlington.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Ileen (Young) Carver and a sister, Gloria West.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Joan Carver, St. Johns, FL; a grandson Ryan Carver, Charlotte, NC; a granddaughter Ashley Antonellis and her husband Chris; four great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Eleanor Carver, North Sewickley Twp. and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Avenue, Beaver Falls. Reverend Lee Bittner will officiate.
Entombment will follow in Beaver Falls Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum.
