Craig Uebelacker, 93, of Beaver Falls, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning January
26, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice — Beaver.
Craig was born September 9th, 1927 in Beaver Falls, PA to Andrew and Rose Uebelacker.
He married Wilma Ward in 1950 and served in the US Army from 1950 to 1955. After returning
to their hometown, they had one daughter, Tamara.
Craig had several jobs over the years but, with his great attention to detail and demanding perfection in his work, settled on being a machinist for Union Drawn - Republic Steel Company, in Beaver Falls, where he worked for over 40 years.
An avid motorcycle rider, Craig had a bike since he was a teenager and rode his Honda Gold Wing until he was 70.
Craig spent much of his free time helping others. He was always the neighborhood handyman. Craig also enjoyed being a Meals on Wheels driver for many, many years, very often delivering to clients considerably younger than himself. When he could no longer drive, he continued his involvement by generating the delivery route sheets for the other drivers.
Craig was preceded in death by his brothers Andy, of Vineland NJ, and James (Jim), of Darlington PA. He is survived by Wilma, his wife of 71 years, daughter Tamara (Roy) Price, as well as nieces and nephews too numerous to list.
Arrangements made through Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, Beaver Falls. A celebration of life service will be held Two Mile Run Park in Beaver on Saturday May 29, 2021.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Blackhawk Area Meals on Wheels, PO Box 1573, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
