Daisy Mae Wolfe

    Daisy Mae Wolfe, 82, of Chippewa Township, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

    Daisy was born on June 7, 1940, in Prosperity, PA to the late Thomas Hixenbaugh and Blanche (Sayre) Swartzlander. Daisy was a retired private home health aide and was a member of the Valley Baptist Church in Beaver Falls.

    Aside from loving Pepsi Cola, Daisy loved her family most of all and she let everyone know it, as she talked of them often. She loved going to breakfast on Saturday mornings with her family, spending time at Mountaineer with her sister, playing Bingo on Monday nights at the New Galilee Community building and playing cards with Mary, her caretaker. She made friends easily and enjoyed making people laugh.

    She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Wayne Wolfe, Sr.1998; two sons, Ed Knight and Eugene “Geno” Wayne Wolfe, Jr.; four brothers, Thomas, James “Hix”, Kenneth “Duke” and Donnie Hixenbaugh and four sisters, Shirley Chambers, Betty Clutter, Dorothy Crow and Joan Long.

    Daisy is survived by her three children, Sheila (Rex) Graham, of South Beaver Township, Darryl (Maria) Wolfe, Ohioville and Lisa (George) Frech, Beaver Falls; two daughters-in-law, Terrie Knight, Beaver Falls and Jacqueline Jacavino, Connecticut; twelve grandchildren, Ranell, Denium, Ariena, , Jordan, Jessie, Jimmy, Amanda, Matthew, Hope, Olivia, Torie and Jake; eleven great-grandchildren, Colter, Emma, Madeline, Paige, Victoria, Corban, Carter, Lydia, Austin, Dallas and Hank; her sister and best friend, Marge Shape, Washington, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801 4TH Avenue, Beaver Falls where a service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Rev. Jeremy McClain will officiate.

    Interment will be in Beaver Falls Cemetery.
