David Kenneth Landsbaugh, 76, of Chippewa Twp., passed away on March 20, 2023 in Good Samaritan Hospice.
Born Jan. 11, 1947 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Esther Landsbaugh. David graduated in 1966 from Beaver Falls High School and began working at Babcock and Wilcox (B&W) that same year. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1968 and served a year in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge he went back to B&W where he continued work until 1985. He then worked as a security guard at Shippingport until he retired in 2012. He enjoyed being a volunteer fireman for Chippewa Fire Department as well as hunting and fishing with his life-long friends and son.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Joann Tonya in 2015.
David is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Jeane, his three children, Scott (Michelle) Landsbaugh, Jill (Joel) Kaar, Beth (Mark) Goslawski and four grandchildren, Jenna Landsbaugh, Ava Landsbaugh, Zoe Kaar, and Eli Kaar.
Also surviving are three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Karen (Kay) Sylvester, and her twin sister, Carolyn (Jit) Blair and her husband Frank, and Sally and Charles Titus as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 4 PM until time of service at 7 PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 1501O, with Rev. Luke Whipple officiating.
Private interment will be in the Grove Cemetery, New Brighton.
