David Weatherly Obituary

David M. Weatherly, 63, of West Mayfield, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, in his residence.

Born on August 20, 1958, in Rochester, he was a son of the late Eugene Sr. and Helen (Zimmerman) Weatherly. David was a long-time member of the Carpenter’s Union where he worked hard to build a life for him and his son. He enjoyed playing guitar in his free time and performed live music at several local bars and clubs. You could find him either riding his motorcycle enjoying life, shooting pool or bowling in a league. David was a member of the Veterans of WWII of West Mayfield and many other clubs and organizations.

David is survived by his only son, David A. (Ashton Hinzman) Weatherly; five brothers, Eugene Jr. (Deb) Weatherly, Daniel (the late Diane) Weatherly, Gerald (Betty) Weatherly, Richard (Jodie) Weatherly, and Jeff (Jackie) Weatherly; one sister, Peggy Lavery; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Weatherly.

As per David’s wishes, he will be cremated, and a memorial service will take place at a later date. The HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, INC.- 3801 4th Avenue, College Hill, was honored to assist the Weatherly family at this time.
