Diane Walker Young, 81, of South Beaver Twp. and formerly of Chippewa Twp. passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
Diane was born on October 12, 1941 to the late Paul Wayne Hartman and Bernice (Barrow) Hartman. She graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1959 and Geneva College. Diane was a teacher at the Beaver Valley Christian Academy and worked for and retired from USAirways. She loved and served her Lord as a devoted member of Chippewa Alliance Church where she loved singing on their Worship Team. As a hobby she enjoyed jewelry making.
Diane was a wonderful loving wife, mother, and grandmother she will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Young, South Beaver Twp.; four children, Mark Edward Walker, East Palestine, OH, Renee Lynn Walker (Gerald O'Brien), South Beaver Twp., Bruce Eric Walker (Paula Benson), Parker, CO and Matthew Travis Walker (Alexandra), Sedalia, CO; two stepchildren, Tammie Young Blackburn, Calcutta, OH and Donald Leroy Young, Hagerstown, MD; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen L. and Samuel Green, Newport Richey, FL; five nieces and nephews, Kari Lynne and Edward Carl Green and Tamme, Holly and Heidi Hartman; ten grandchildren, Corry and Travis Laich and Cameron, Jessica, Jacob, Julie, Mattison, Abigail and Vincent Walker, Brittany Grisham and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Vincent Walker in 2000; a grandson, Trevor Daniel Walker; her stepmother, Agnes L. Hartman and two brothers, David Clifford Hartman and Wayne Lee Hartman.
Friends will be received Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801 Fourth Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. her Pastor Daniel Muir, will officiate. Private interment will be in Sylvania Hills Cemetery, Daugherty Twp.
