Donald F. Fields, 87, of Beaver Falls died Friday March 26, 2021 in Allegheny General Hospital.
Born June 10, 1933 in Beaver Falls, was the son of the late Elmer, Sr. and Grace ( Loney) Fields.
He was a longtime member of the Christs Evangelical Lutheran Church Beaver Falls until it closed. He then was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ellwood City. He was a loving father and grandfather and avid Steeler fan.
He is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Roxanne (Fields) Fleet and Tom; Sherry (Fields) Vassilaros and Kimberly (Fields) Stone. Six grandchildren, Leah Vassilaros Mossor and William, Codi Fleet and James Newman, Curt Stone, Garret Fleet and Kaitlyn Seward, Nicholas Vassilaros and Amy, and Christopher Stone. Four great-grandchildren, Delaney Newman, Constantine (Gus) Mossor, Gavin Fleet and Alyssa Mossor. A brother Raymond Fields; and three sisters Mary Ann Fields, Francis Fields, and Laverne Wasko, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Donna ( Fields) Russo, his former wife Joyce Ice, four brothers Russell, Herschel, Elmer, Jr., and Richard. Two sisters Rose and Lilly. Two sons-in-law Dean Vassilaros and Vincent Russo, Jr.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-6 PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Where a service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00AM with Rev. Margaret Suhr-Barkley and Rev. Kimberly Rapczak officiating.
Private entombment will follow in Holy Redeemer Mausoleum, Ellwood City.
