Obituary

Dorothy “Dotty” Brooks, 95, formerly of Chippewa Twp. passed on to her Heavenly home on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Beaver Meadows in Brighton Twp. where she resided.

Dotty was born on October 29, 1925 in Beaver Falls to the late John A. and Anna (Stirling) Richard. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church Beaver Falls, where she served as an Elder and the former Fort McIntosh Organization in Beaver. She graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1943. In later years Dotty enjoyed getting together with “The Girls of ’43” luncheon group.

Dotty was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, W. Paul Brooks, Jr., 1995; a brother, Alan Richard and a sister, Marion Todd. She will be sadly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Chuck Clark, Chippewa Twp.; two grandsons and their wives, Matthew and Kaelyn Clark, Plymouth Meeting, PA and Chad and Mindy Clark, Jefferson Hills; three great grandchildren, Alexa, Brendan and Charlotte Clark; two step great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Liam Taylor and several nieces and nephews.

A private service was held for family on Tuesday, Pastor Rod Smith officiated. Interment was in Grandview Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire Beaver Meadow’s staff for the loving care they gave to Dorothy over the past year.
