Edna Mae (O'Hara) Stowe

Edna Mae ( O’Hara) Stowe, 88 of Eastvale, PA died Thursday September 21, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family, from lung cancer.  Born January 16, 1935 in Beaver Falls, was the daughter of the late Daniel & Olive ( Craig) O'Hara.

Before retirement Edna was a nurse’s aid having work in various nursing homes.   She loved to play bingo and loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald H. Stowe, Sr.  Edna was the last of her O'Hara family. She was preceded in death by all of her siblings  Daniel (Jenny) O'Hara; Peggy O'Hara;  Kaiser (Sylvia)O'Hara; Shirley (Dale) Fenchel;  Mary Ellen (Frank) Binger;  June (Art Campell) Baysinger; and twin sisters who died shortly after birth. Also preceding her in death are sons-in-laws and daughters-in-law Neal deVyver, II; Cyndi Stowe; Raymond Lentz; and Susan Stowe; and two grandsons Donald Lentz, Sr. and Johnathan Stowe.

She is survived by her children: Donald ( Cathie) H. Stowe, Jr. Ormond Beach FL.; Vicky deVyver, Beaver Falls; Robert Stowe, Chippewa Twp.; Linda Lentz, Eastvale; Thomas Stowe, Carey, OH; and David (Tabitha) Stowe, Anderson, SC. Grandchildren: Kimberly(James) Baker, Scott(Michelle)Mitchell, Bruce Mitchell, Shawn Mitchell, Matthew (Heather) Mitchell, Steven deVyver, Jeremy(Tracy) Stowe, Timothy (Ninette) Stowe, Christina (Matthew) Petro, Karlie Lentz, Justin (Brittany) Lentz, Jordan Lentz, Emily Lentz, Eric Chad (Courtney Mitchell) Stowe, Brittany Stowe, Brandon Stowe, Rachael (Austin) Dorsey.

Great great-grandchildren Elliana Mitchell, Brayden Mitchell, Fallon LaFrance, Peyton LaFrance, Kaison LaFrance, Raven Harden, Alistar Whisenhunt, Quinteen Whisenhunt, Kaden Underwood, Ireland Underwood, Charlie Underwood, Cayde Pander, Caroline Culley, Grayson Adrian, Braxton Adrian; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010; where a service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM with her nephew Rev. Eric Board, officiating.

Private interment will take place in Beaver Falls Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
