Edward A. Sondheimer, 67, of Chippewa Township, died Friday June 4, 2021.
Born March 10, 1954 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Harold D. & Naomi (Soodik) Sondheimer. He was the owner of Tri-State Equipment Company in Beaver Falls.
Ed will be remembered as a generous giver to the local community, donating restaurant supplies and money to many organizations including the Beaver County YMCA, McGuire Memorial Home, and many others too numerous to name. He also was an avid supporter of the Larry Bruno Foundation.
Ed was immensely proud of his Beaver Falls roots and was a pillar of the community. One of his proudest moments was when he was highlighted by Larry Bruno, his high school football coach, as a model football player.
He was the heart and soul of his family, never missing a family function.
He was an incredible brother, uncle, and great-uncle, and is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Norman & Emily Sondheimer, Avon, CT; a sister and brother-in-law Marci & David Landis, Natick, MA; nieces & nephew, Jessica Sondheimer, Jonathan & Shiri Sondheimer, Haviva Landis, and Bina Landis, great-nephew and great-niece Isidor & Zora Sondheimer, many loving cousins, and wonderful friends.
Friends will be received Tuesday June 8th from 9:30 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
Interment will follow at Agudath Achim Cemetery, Patterson Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beaver County YMCA, the McGuire Memorial Home, or The Larry Bruno Foundation.
