Elder Charles Clark, Sr. Obituary

Elder Charles Edward Clark Sr. of South Beaver Twp. went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday May 30, 2020. 

He was the son of the late Noah & Eliza (Sallis) Clark.   He served in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge in February of 1959 and retired from Crucible Steel, after 32 years of service.  He was a member of Bible Way C.O.G.I.C. in New Castle, PA under the pastoral leadership of Elder John Young III.  He served as the pastor of Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. for seven years in Midland, PA until he retired from pastoring then served as a member of House of Prayer C.O.G.I.C. in New Castle while under the pastoral leadership of his son-in-law Elder Jerome Littlejohn.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Loretta M. Clark; two children from his first marriage: Charles Edward Clark Jr., Pontiac, MI; Wilveta Clark, Laurel, MD; four step-children: Denise Washington (John), Hepzibah, GA; Michael Walton (Carole) Yorktown, VA; Renee’ Littlejohn (Jerome), Monroeville, PA; and John Walton (Martha), Pittsburgh, PA; a brother, Gil Clark (Margaret), Beaver, PA; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Charles E. Clark III, two brothers and five sisters.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a private family visitation and service was held with Elder Jerome Littlejohn officiating.

Interment was held in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
