Elsie Ayres Obituary

Elsie Mary Yvonne (Cox, Tittle) Ayres family and friends called her "Tickey". Elsie walked into the arms of Jesus on June 2, 2022. She was laid to rest at Highland Cemetery. 

 

Born the daughter of the late Margaret and Elzie Cox.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Elmer Cox and Kevin Cox

Preceded in death by first husband Charles Tittle and second husband Roger Ayres

 

Survived by her twin brother Elzie "Peck" Cox and sister-in-law Eva residing in South Carolina.

Also survived by stepson Michael and wife Tish Tittle of Wellsville,Ohio

Three step grandchildren, seven step great grandchildren. 

Nieces: Beverly Wallace, Laura Flowers, Amy Nissley, Nephew Mark Cox and other family members.

 

She was a lifelong resident of South Beaver Twp. and Ohioville.  She and her first husband resided and owned the Highland Cemetery while he was alive. Had been a lifelong member of Achor Town Baptist Church where she was the pianist but after the closing of this church, she was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Ohioville. Elsie had a favorite hobby of playing bingo with her mother and was loved by many friends and family members and will be greatly missed in their lives.

 

The family wished to thank the Staff and Volunteers of Brighton Rehab and Nursing Center in Beaver for all the care given her while she was there as an extended care patient.
