Elsie Marie Glover – Bowers, 86, of Chippewa Twp. and formerly of New Galilee passed away, Tuesday, March 31, 2020. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary ( Soldarits ) Lang. Elsie was born and raised in Ambridge where she graduated from high school. She retired from the former Greif Brothers, a container factory that was in Darlington, where she had worked for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Monica Parish.
Spending time with her family and grandchildren brought her great happiness. Elsie loved to cook and bake, polka dancing, going on cruises and spend time at the beach. She loved life.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Clair Glover in 1968 and Joseph D. Bowers in 1973; a granddaughter, Abigail Baker; a step-brother, Emil Lang and a step-sister, Margaret Carrol.
She will be sadly missed by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Bernie Glover, Brighton Twp. and Donald and Roberta Glover, South Beaver Twp.; two daughters, Jane Baker, Houston, PA and Kathy Sutton, Carmichaels, PA; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and a brother and sister-in-law, Alfred “Fred” and Anna Lang, Columbus, OH.
A private family service will be held at HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman , 3801 Fourth Avenue, Beaver Falls. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Boro.
