Frank W. Miller, Sr.

Frank W. Miller, Sr. 90, of Big  Beaver Boro, died Tuesday February 23, 2021 in his home after a brief illness.

Born February 23, 1931 in Zelienople, was the son of the late Frank J. and Teresa C. ( Zsizsik) Miller, he was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Ellwood City.  He retired from Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products and Clark Screw and Machine, in Blawnox, PA.  He was a retired member of the Patterson Township Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting and fishing.  He was an avid sports fan and especially loved watching sports involving his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 69 Years Charlotte “Ruth” (Porter) Miller. Children: Frank W. Miller, Jr. (Rola), Pace, FL; Patricia J. Michael (David), New Castle, PA; Barbara A. Friend (Jeffery), McHenry, MD; Kathleen M. Kiser (Ritchard), Chippewa Township; and  John C. Miller (Carina), Budingen, Germany.  Grandchildren: Frank W. Miller III (Rachael); Rebekah R. Strate (Tyler); Suzannah J. Newell (Matthew); Lora M. Sumrall (Jacob); Matthew D. Michael, Chaz E. Jannuzi (Jessica); Ava Paloma; Julie A. Friend; Kaylyn M. Kiser; Katharina T. Temple And 19 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers James L. Miller Deceased 2010; and Robert R. Miller Deceased 2002.

Due to the current pandemic private services were held for the family. A service was conducted by the Rev. Margaret Suhr-Barkley.

Private interment was in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Boro.
