Gary Morris

     Gary D. Morris, 68, of Big Beaver, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, in Celebration Villa of Chippewa with his loving family by his side.

     Born on July 16, 1953, in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Ronald G. and Edith M. (Ferguson) Morris. Gary went to the Fishburne Military School in Virginia during his high school years, then attended Virginia Wesleyan College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He attended the St. Monica Parish and retired from doing maintenance work at the Blackhawk School District.

     Gary is survived by his wife, Gloria (Rimoldi) Morris; brothers, Kevin (Lynn) Morris, and Joel (Cass Rowan) Morris; sister, Rhonda (Jeff) Androlia; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia (Harold “Skip”) Sorenson; brother-in-law, George Kelly; and nieces and nephews, Heidi (Vik Thakur) Androlia, Nicole Androlia, Kelsey Androlia (fiancée Nick Bejarano), Krista Morris, and Stefan Kelly.

     In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Kim Morris.

     Friends will be received on Thursday at 10:00 AM for a Memorial Mass at the St. Monica Roman Catholic Church- 116 Thorndale Drive, Chippewa Township.

     Private inurnment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

     The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Gateway Hospice and Celebration Villa (the former Elmcroft) for all the love and care they provided.
