Glenn E. Wagoner, 89, of Darlington died Sunday, January 31, 2021 in Salem West Nursing Home, Salem, Ohio.
Born December 14, 1931 in Chippewa Twp. was the son of the late W. Earl & Ada H. (Keil) Wagoner. He was a member of the Chippewa United Methodist Church, where he operated the audio equipment for 22 years. He served in the US Army as a medic during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of the Glenn Wagoner Oil Company and the owner of the Wagoner Home & Garden in Darlington. For 12 years he was the assistant chief of the Darlington Police Department. He served on the Northwestern School District school board. He was also a member of the Meridian Lodge No. 411 F & AM and Beaver Falls Sportsmen’s Club. Glenn was known for his homemade sauerkraut.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Lois (Owen) Wagoner; three children, Linda( Edward) Watterson, of Darlington; Glenn L. (Janice) Wagoner, of Darlington; and Kevin (Karen) Wagoner, of Katy, Texas; eight grandchildren, Mark, Scott and Eric Watterson, all of Darlington; Chris (Rachel) and Mathew (Heather) Wagoner, both of Darlington, and, Michael (Deanna), Scott, both of Texas, and Dominique (Christian) Naranjo, of Colorado; and seven great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Madalyn, Rhett, Abygaile, Emma, Monica and Elliott. He is also survived by a brother, Lee (Carol) Wagoner, of Enon Valley; and two sisters, Anna Wagoner, of Oregon, and Doris (Denman) Jones, of Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Dale and Earl Wagoner, and a beloved Uncle Harry Wagoner.
A memorial service will be held Saturday February 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Chippewa United Methodist Church, 2545 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
