Hannelore Ancil, 93, of Brighton Township, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023.
Hannelore, known as Lori, was born in Germany on January 3, 1929 to Peter Ludwig and Dora (Kraemer) Knaup. While trained as a masseuse, she later worked in the clothing/fashion industry. Lori loved all things beautiful: perfume, glamorous clothes, the colors of autumn – especially yellow and red, wild flowers, greenery, a smart hair-do, waltzes, and ballet. Elegance and grace were her standard. She had a strong heart for Jesus and for those hurting, serving faithfully in a prison ministry program for many years, and giving sacrificially to any in need, to the church, and especially the disabled. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a great prayer warrior. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her son Dr. Ralph Ancil, her grandchildren, Mrs. Kristina Edwards, and Mr. Erik Ancil, her son-in-law, Mr. Philip Edwards, and her two great-grandchildren, Charlie and Harold.
Friends will be received on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 10 to 11 am at the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801 Fourth Avenue, Beaver Falls followed by a memorial service from 11am to noon.
