Harold “Pete” Brown, 83, of North Sewickley Twp. passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 28, 2023.
Pete was born on July 22, 1940 to the late Herbert and Stella (Wilds) Brown. He was a lifelong member of Concord Church. Pete served his country for 6 years in the United States Army National Guard.
Pete had an extraordinary work ethic all his life. He owned the former Ashland Service Station in Beaver Falls for 13 years, Pete Brown’s Garage in North Sewickley Twp. for 25 years and worked for B & W for 30 years. Pete loved cars. He was a member of the Happy Days Car Club in Beaver Falls and the Rod and Classics Club in New Brighton.
He is survived by his wife, Georgie (Engle) Brown, who on Nov. 24th would have celebrated 62 years of marriage; their three children and six grandchildren, Mark (Wendy) Brown and their children Olivia and Noah, Rodney (Cristina) Brown and their children Joshua and Emily and Tammy (Eric) Guy and their children Josiah (Toni) and Faith; a sister, Estelle “Toots” Measel; two brothers, Herbert (Jean) Brown and Howard “Vern” (Shirley) Brown and two sister-in-laws, Linda Engle and Beulah “Honey” Brown.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Flora Shaw, Anna Zahn, Eva Cusick, and Naomi “Sis” Elsbury and three brothers, William “Bill” Brown, Kenneth “Bud” Brown and Jack Brown.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, November 2nd from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801 Fourth Avenue, Beaver Falls.
A funeral service will be held Friday, November 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Concord Church, 285 Concord Church Road, Beaver Falls. His Pastor, Chris Kindle, will officiate.
