Harold L. “Hock” Hocanson

Harold L. “Hock” Hocanson, 85, of Patterson Township, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 3, 2020.
Born June 28, 1934 in New Galilee, he was the son of the late Victor and Margaret Guiney Hocanson. He was a Union carpenter for over 50 years, a member of the West Mayfield Vets, and the Pennsylvania Snowseekers Snowmobile Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline V. Douds “Gige” Hocanson on October 22, 2006, his son Philip “Hock” Hocanson on June 23, 2004, a granddaughter, Katlyn Marie Hocanson, and a brother, Charles Hocanson.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and John “Bubs” Fabyanic, North Sewickley Township, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Brian Hocanson, and Craig and Kim Hocanson, all of Patterson Township, two grandchildren, Amanda Fabyanic, North Sewickley Township, John Fabyanic and his wife Erica, Daugherty Township, three great-grandchildren, Sean Fabyanic, Luke Hoffman, and John David Fabyanic.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com., where the service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Allan K. Brooks officiating. Entombment will follow in the Beaver Falls Cemetery Mausoleum.
