Helen Joyce (Hurd) Kaercher

Helen Joyce (Hurd) Kaercher, 82, of College Hill, Beaver Falls died Saturday, July 23, 2022, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley Beaver, surrounded with love by her family.

Born June 4, 1940, in North Conway, NH, Helen was the daughter of the late Alton Merle, Sr. & Helen Gilman (Hurd) Barry. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her special babies Paxton, Landon, Destiny, and Tori.

She is survived by her children, Sally Eichler, Beaver Falls; Barbara (Dan) Marshall, Palm Harbor, FL; Michael (Cheri) Hurd, Great Falls, MT; Janet (Jim) Hill, East Palestine, OH; Kelly Reed, East Palestine, OH; and Thomas (Shelly) Hurd, West Mayfield. Eight grandchildren, Robbie Hill, Rachel Hill, Cassandra Hurd, Chenelle Klink, Nicholle Klink, Michael Klink, Travis Hurd, and Tracy Eichler. Seven Great-grandchildren. A brother Robert (Helen) Barry; sister Catherine (Kevin) Herron; brother Bill (Chris) Barry; sister-in-law Ruth (Don) Hall; brother-in-law Robert (Caroline) Ludwig and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Kaercher, Aug. 2, 1992; two brothers Richard and Alton Hurd, Jr., a great uncle Robert Gilman, sister-in-law Nancy Ludwig, two brothers-in-law Jacque Kaercher and Kenneth Ashton, and her beloved pets Princess, Precious, and Penny.

As per her wishes, private services were held for the family.

Interment was in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Boro.
