James Allen Main

James Allen Main, 82, of West Mayfield died Wednesday January 13, 2021 in The Grove at New Wilmington.

Born December 16, 1938 in Beaver Falls.  Was the son of the late Ralph Edgar & Ruth  Hazel ( Craven) Main.   He served in the US Army from 1961-1964 at Fort Jackson, SC.  He retried from CPM  in Chippewa Twp. and worked for Westinghouse, then Cutler Hammer as a Solid State Group Leader.    James had a skill in electronics and enjoyed working on cars.

He is survived by a son Kevin Main, West Mayfield; a daughter Christina & Ryan Collins, Medina, OH; Three grandchildren Sarah Main, Joshua Main and Brendan Collins: two brothers  Robert & Barb Main and Darwin & Phyllis Main, both of Beaver Falls; a sister-in-law Pat Main; several nieces and nephews and his former wife Mary Main.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three stillborn children Rochelle and Mark.  Three brothers Ralph, Harold and Harry Main; and two sisters-in-law Dorothy & Lee Main.

As per his wishes there will be no public visitation.

Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
