John W. Harn, 88, of West Mayfield passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 at Heritage Valley, Beaver.
He was born December 6, 1931 in South Beaver Township to the late Thornton F. Harn, Sr. and Gladys (Hayes) Harn. John was a construction worker of the Laborers Union #833 for 55 years.
John will be remembered for the many, many items he fixed for everyone as a favor, if he knew them or not.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Schied Harn, West Mayfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia (Tom) Miller, Enon Valley; two sons and daughters-in-law, John H. (Jacqueline) Harn, Shaler Township and William “Scott” (Kriszta) Harn, Chippewa Township; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Thornton “Hezz” (Margaret) Harn, Negley, OH; a sister, Wyeonna Price, Enon Valley and a sister-in-law, Deloris Harn, North Lima, OH.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Darlene Harn, 2006 and a brother, Robert Harn, 2016.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801 Fourth Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Pastor Gregory Clagg will officiate. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Borough.
