John S. Horvath Sr., 56, of White Township passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospice after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
John was born on December 19, 1964 in Beaver Falls to Frank Horvath of Beaver Falls and the late Emma Elizabeth (Vigosky) Horvath who passed away last year in 2020. He was a self-employed contractor and owner of JSH & Sons Investments, a member of St. Monica Parish and a 1983 graduated of Beaver Falls High School.
John was an avid sports fan for all the Beaver Falls and Pittsburgh sports teams and a well-known Baseball and Softball coach for Beaver Falls. He loved to golf every chance he got.
John was an outstanding father that lived for his four children, Taylor, John Jr. Nick and Cody all of White Township. In addition to his father and children, he is survived by a sister Aimee Horvath of Beaver Falls and his two canine companions, Luca, a Lab/Border Collie and Samantha, a German Shepard.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, 3801 Fourth Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls where a Blessing Service will be held Thursday at 12 Noon with Father Kim Schreck. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
As per his request there will be a celebration of his life at a later date.
