Julie Ann (Young) Proakis

Julie Ann ( Young) Proakis, 52 of Chippewa Township died Thursday April 6th 2023 in Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born May 19th 1970, in Victorville CA, was the daughter of Douglas E. ( Joanne) Young, North Sewickley Township and Nancy ( Dale) Stuby, Chippewa Township.  She was a home  health caregiver, and enjoyed home renovations and crafts.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, whom she married on May 27, 2000, Nick Proakis; a son Matthew A. (Arya) Young, Beaver Falls; brother Richard D. (Kara) Young, Bentleyville, PA; aunt and uncle Debbie & Paul Hudspath.  Mother-in-law Jennie Proakis; nieces and nephews Alyssa ( Adam) Vargo, Ashley ( Max) Hamilton, Joshua Young, Jason (Alisia) Proakis, Maria( Joel) West, Candice ( Clarence) Parrish, Aaron Proakis, Jacob Proakis and Sean (Melody) Proakis .  Brothers-in-law John Proakis, Angelo ( Shirley) Proakis, and Frank (Tina) Proakis.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ivan and Helen Gruber; paternal grandparents Harold and Ruth Young; and a father-in-law Nickie Proakis.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com; 3801-4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010; where a service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM.
