Kenneth P. Stanko, 89, of Patterson Township, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022, in Waynesburg Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born on June 29, 1932, in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Frank) Stanko. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for B&W in the steel mill. He was an avid Blackhawk Football fan and coached little league in Beaver Falls for 13 years. Kenneth was also an usher for the St. Monica Parish, helped out at the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, and was known for his bright, blue eyes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Carole Ann (House) Stanko; children, Kevin Stanko, of Cleveland, Ken Jr. (Cathy) Stanko, of Sedona, Arizona, Karen (Ron) Muha, of South Park, PA, and Kurt Stanko, of Patterson Township; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Thomas Sr. (Anna) House, of Beaver Falls; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by his sister, Marianne (Bob) Merryman.
Friends will be received on Tuesday at 10:00 AM for a memorial mass at the St. Monica Roman Catholic Church- 116 Thorndale Drive, Chippewa Township. Father Kim Schreck will be leading as celebrant.
Private inurnment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
