Lawrence E. Hoover

Lawrence Edward Hoover went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.  Larry was born August 15, 1942 in New Castle.  Larry was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Stansberry, uncle and aunt Donald and Catherine Rice all of New Castle and his in laws Pete and Doris Zingaro of Beaver Falls.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Germany during the Berlin Crisis

He was married for 59 years to Louise Zingaro Hoover. They had four children Peter Hoover ( Nancy), Robin Mercer ( Richard), Melissa Hoover and Cecelia Ader.  Grandchildren Sarah English, Rick Mercer ( Elissa), Kaitlyn Hoover, Tyler Ader and Ethan Ader.  Great grandchildren Olivia English, Ella, Elijah and Emerson Mercer.

Larry spent 35 years in banking in the Beaver Falls Area.  He was a member of the JC’s where he served several roles.  He was a member of the East Palestine Church of Christ.  He was also a member of the New Castle and Beaver Falls Christian Churches serving in many areas of the church life.

Memorial Services will be held at the East Palestine Church of Christ at a later date.
