Marie Weir

    Marie Weir, 77, of Patterson Township passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021.

     Marie was born on December 3, 1943 in Beaver Falls to the late John and Lena (Caruso) Luraghi. She retired after 50 years as an Executive Secretary for WesBanco in Ellwood City, formerly Peoples Home Savings and ESB Bank.

    She was dearly loved for the last 25 years by her husband, Harold Weir, Patterson Twp.

    In addition to her husband, she is survived by two step-daughters, Pamela Ottaviani, Ellwood City and Vickie Blum, Webster, TX; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; she was close to all her nieces and nephews, but she was especially close to Mark Bebout, Ronald Bebout and the late Renee Ross. Marie just cherished great nieces and nephews.

    In addition to her niece, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Bebout and a brother, John F. Luraghi.

    Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com , where a Blessing Service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. Followed by entombment in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Chippewa Township.
