Martin S." Bud" Sheeler, 95, of Koppel, died Tuesday December 29, 2020 in Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born December 22, 1925 in Lawrence County was the son of the late John, Sr. & Mary (Simmer) Sheeler.
He served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard. He retired from the former Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products Company, Eastworks plant. He was a member the Koppel United Methodist Church, the Koppel volunteer Fire Department, the Koppel Big Beaver Sportsmen’s Club, and the former Ellwood City VFW. Martin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Norma Jean (Carothers) Sheeler, whom he married July 2, 1949. A granddaughter Carrie Sheeler, Koppel; Great grandchildren Tyler & Madison Broge, Beaver Falls; a daughter-in-law Rebekah Sheeler, NC; step grandchildren Dori Stone & Kyler Griffith, Ashville, NC and Jacqueline Dewhirst, Beaver Falls.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons Brian & Bradley Sheeler; three brothers John & William & Joseph Sheeler, and a sister Marie Colaizzi.
Due to COVID-19 there will be no visitation or services, a memorial service will be announced at a future date.
Interment was in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Boro.
