Melvin Roy Pander, 78, of North Sewickley Township died Wednesday May 19, 2021 in Good Samaritan Hospice.
Born June 29, 1942 in New Brighton. Son of the late Roy & Ellen (Agnew) Pander. He was a member of the Edgewood Church, North Sewickley Township. He retired from IPSCO ( Koppel Tubulars Corporation) from the Water Treatment Plant and retired from Meiter’s Specialty Shop in North Sewickley Township, working part-time for 53 years. Mel loved the Lord Jesus Christ enjoyed serving in the church and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His second passion was building, fixing, and restoring motors of all shapes and sizes. He believed if you had the right tool you could fix anything. He was an avid camper and enjoyed traveling all over the country.
He is survived by his wife Patricia( Teapole) Pander, a son Dwayne & Melinda Pander, Hearne, TX; Three daughters Denise & Joe Abruzzo, Lebanon, TN; Susan & Joshua Schwoebel, Baden; and Chrisann & Jim, Jr. Green, Forrestville, PA. Seven grandchildren, Stephanie & Jason DeSanzo; Robert “Bud” Patterson, III; Oliva, Abigail, James, III, and Issy Green; and Eli Schwoebel. Three great grandchildren Katlynn and Robert IV Patterson and Alexza DeSanzo. A sister Eldora & Gary Borger, Potterville, PA.
Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM, with his pastor, the Rev. Michael Coleman officiating.
Private interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
