Mildred Dacko, 100, a lifelong resident of Beaver Falls went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Providence Care Center where she resided.
Mildred was born on October 31, 1920 in Johnstown, PA to the late Frank and Freda (Henze) Slagle. During the 60’s and 70’s she was a cafeteria worker at Beaver Falls High School. She retired in 1985 from the EKG Department of The Medical Center, Beaver. Mildred was a devoted member of Ashes to Life Ministries formerly Otterbein United Methodist Church in Beaver Falls and The Medical Center Auxiliary.
She was an avid reader that loved her Bible and had a deep religious faith. She enjoyed baking, knitting, and crocheting.
Preceding her in death was her husband, George Dacko, 1998; her twin sister, Hilda Slagle, 2003; a daughter-in-law, Gerri Dacko, 2012 and her lifelong best friend, Edna Mushinski, 2020.
She will be sadly missed by her two sons, George S. Dacko, Chippewa Twp. and David L. (Ginny) Dacko, West Mayfield; three granddaughters, Amy (Kevin) Healy, Virginia Beach, VA, April (Don) Kirsch, East Springfield, PA and Lisa Dacko, Bellevue, PA and two great grandchildren, Georgia Healy and Derek Kirsch.
Friends will be received Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 Noon in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME,www.hillandkunselman.com. Interment will follow in Beaver Falls Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
