Nellie Margaret Kampi

Nellie Margaret Kampi, 91, of New Castle, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022, in the Memorial Healthcare Center in Owosso, MI.

Born on January 4, 1931, in Koppel, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Aleksondrowz) Albinski. She enjoyed going for car rides, long walks, feeding and observing wildlife, Polka’s, Thrift Store shopping and spending time with her sister.

Nellie is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Thomas) Pease; granddaughters, Kylie (Matt) Brown, Erin Pease, and Francisco Alvarado; her great- granddaughters, Makena, Amelia, and Dalia; along with beloved nephew and nieces.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Kampi; longtime partner, Leo Golba; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillian M. (Alfred E.) DeSanzo, and Jennifer (Danny Minovich) Albinski; and brother, Theodore “Teddy” (Joyce) Albinski.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, INC.- 3801 4th Avenue, College Hill, www.hillandkunselman.com. A blessing service will take place the following afternoon at 12:30 PM in the funeral home with Father Naugle as celebrant.

Private Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, New Brighton.
