Ralph M. DeChicko, 95, of College Hill passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022.
Ralph was born on March 5,1927 in Beaver Falls to the late Frank and Catherine (Franer) DeChicko. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. Ralph was a truck driver for the former Householder’s Trucking Co. for many years. He retired from the Maintenance Dept. of Babcock & Wilcox Tubular Products.
Ralph and his wife, Kathryn (Means) DeChicko enjoyed 69 years together. They traveled, took bus trips, fished, and boated. Most of all they enjoyed sitting on their porch watching what was going on. Ralph also hunted but he liked hunting alone. They were life members of the Beaver Falls Boat Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Alan Irwin, Ellwood City; four grandchildren, Molly (CJ) Morley, Aliquippa, Shawn (Lauren) Irwin, North Sewickley Twp., Matt (Rebekah) DeChicko, Chippewa Twp. and Nick DeChicko, College Hill and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ralph DeChicko, 10/01/2021, three brothers and a sister.
Ralph’s wish was to be cremated and interred in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, PA.
