Randy Pyles, 69, of Big Beaver Borough passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 after a lengthy illness.
He was born on February 19, 1953, in Beaver Falls to the late Robert Pyles (May 2021) and Patricia (Myers) Pyles, formerly of New Castle. Randy was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army, stationed in Alabama, he received badges as a sharpshooter and marksman. After two years in the military at the age of 22 he left with the carnival to set up, tear down and transport rides for many years. Over the years, he worked at a riding stable on the other side of PA; on a shrimp boat along the East Coast; was a cook for the former Sadie’s Restaurant which later became Kathy’s in Darlington; was employed by Inter Forest in Cannelton and Universal Refractories in Wampum.
In addition to his mother, Randy is survived by his loving wife, Sharon (Berry) Pyles of Big Beaver Borough; a brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Joni Pyles, Squirrel Hill and a sister and brother-in-law, Kris and Dr. Pete Sotos of Kittanning In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kirby Pyles (March 2013).
Randy’s wife would like to thank Life Beaver for their wonderful, dedicated care and compassion.
Randy’s wish was to be cremated.
