Rev. Jack Sawyer Obituary
Rev. Jack D. Sawyer, 87, of College Hill and Pastor of United Gospel Assembly of Beaver Falls went to be with his Lord on January 16, 2022. He had been ill for several years.
He was born on July 19, 1934, in West Virginia to the late Rev. Jack C. F. and Madge (Frame) Sawyer. Jack loved playing music and reading his bible.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty (Cox) Sawyer, a former employee of Blackhawk School; brother, Thomas W. and Francine Sawyer; niece, Lynnell; and brother-in-law, Elliott Bowan.
Jack is preceded by his son, David T. Sawyer; and sisters, Martha McDougal and Susan Bowan.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2:00 until time of service at 6:00 PM in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME- 3801 4TH Avenue, College Hill, www.hillandkunselman.com.
Private interment will take place in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
