Richard E. Rowe

Richard E. Rowe 85, of Beaver Falls died Wednesday August 25, 2021 in Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born September 10, 1935 in Beaver Falls, was the son of the late Charles E. & Antoinette (Glabb) Rowe.  He was a U. S. Army veteran during the Korean War, he was the  Postmaster at Shippingport and Monaca Post Offices, before retiring in 1997.  He was a member of St. Monica’s Parish. Rich enjoyed spending time with his friends after retirement while working at the Fox Run Golf Course. His most cherished moments was watching his grandchildren play sports.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Peggy Rowe, whom he married October 4, 1958.  A son and daughter-in-law Rich A., Sr. & Annette Rowe, Chippewa Township.  A granddaughter Rebecca & Clayton Breitenstein, Avon, IN and a grandson Richie Rowe, Shippensburg, PA.  Brother-in-law Fred & Marge Brodbeck, a sister-in-law Nancy Rowe,  many nieces and nephews, and his little dog Maxx. 

In addition to his parents  he was preceded in death by a brother Ralph Rowe, a sister Rita Colorito and her husband Lou Colorito.

Friends will be received Saturday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4thAvenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
