Robert Alan Ellefson

Robert Alan Ellefson, 81, of Beaver Falls, died Friday May 19th, in Providence Health Care Center.

Born May 11, 1942 in Beaver Falls, was the son of the late Edward & Dorothy ( Ruff) Ellefson.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce and retired from the City of Beaver Falls as a firefighter for over 22 years, having obtained the rank of assistant fire chief before his retirement. He was a member of the Beaver Falls Volunteer FD where he retired as a Past Service member. Was a member of the International Association of Firefighters, Beaver Falls Firefighters Local 3539, and both the New Brighton and Beaver Falls American Legion.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Christine L Ellefson, a son Kevin Ellefson, and three brothers Edward, Charles, and John Ellefson.

He is survived by his son Kurt Ellefson, Beaver Falls; step-son William ( Renee) Bosworth, Darlington; a step-daughter Jennifer Bosworth & Milcho Uzunov, Bratislava, Slovakia; a granddaughter Shelby Bosworth, a sister-in-law Lorena Ellefson, Chippewa Twp. and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010. Where a service will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 AM with, Pastor Luke Whipple, officiating.

A Fire Department  service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday in the funeral home.

Member of the Veteran’s Honor Guard will provide military honors on Wednesday at 10:45 AM at the funeral home.

Private interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA
