Robert N. Pezzi

Robert N. Pezzi, 76, of Beaver Falls, formerly of Ellwood City, died Wednesday September 6, 2023 in the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, South Beaver Township.

Born on October 1, 1946, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Rose (Scarpetti) Pezzi. Robert was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War, during which he received the Purple Heart.  After the military he worked for B&W for 19 years and went to Culinary School in Pittsburgh and received a Batchelor’s of Art Degree.  He was a banquet chef for the Seven Oaks Country Club for 20 years. Robert was a member of both the Holy Redeemer and St. Augustine (St. Monica)  Parishes, as well as the Beaver Falls Turners.

Bob was a compassionate, selfless and caring husband, father and grandfather.  He Loved golf and eating good food.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anita (Andino) Pezzi; a daughter, Lisa Sciarro, of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Anthony Milliner, Phillip Moore, and Brandon Moore. A sister-in-law, Janet  Pezzi, of Chewton, two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law David & Diane Izzo, Eastvale; and Tom & Pat Andino, Syracuse, NY.  An uncle Lou Ferrario, Beaver Falls and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother on the same day, Sam Pezzi.

Friends will be received on Monday from 4-8 PM in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, INC.- 3801 4TH Avenue, College Hill, www.hillandkunselman.com. Where prayers will be recited Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM at the St. Augustine (St. Monica) Roman Catholic Church- 116 Thorndale Drive, Chippewa Township.

Members of the Veteran’s Honor Guard will meet at the church on Tuesday at 10:45 AM to provide full military honors.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of Western PA, 575 Lincoln Ave, Bellevue, PA 15202 or to a charity of choice.
