Obituary

 

     Ronald L. Foster Sr., 78, of Patterson Twp. passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023.
     Ron was born on August 3, 1944 in Isabella, PA to the late Robert H. and Virginia (Beatty) Foster. He was a veteran of the United States Marines having served during the Vietnam War. Ron retired from Armstrong World Industries in 2003 after 50 years. He was a Patterson Twp. Volunteer Fireman for 45 years. Of those 45 years he was Fire Chief for 15 years. 
     Ron was a member of Steffin Hill Presbyterian Church, the National Guard and the National Rifle Association.
     He was the loving husband of Lydia “LaLa” Foster, Patterson Twp.; Cody (Sarah) Fritz, whom was like a son and daughter-in-law to him and their daughter, Anneliese, whom he considered his granddaughter; a brother, Russell Foster, Patterson Twp. and a sister, Carol Foster, Isabella, PA.
     Ron was preceded in death by his son, Ronald L. Foster Jr. in 2021; a brother, Robert Foster and a sister, Violet Tomchek.
     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be mad, if desired, to the Steffin Hill Presbyterian Church, 2000 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010
His family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for their compassionate care.
