Rose Marie Grimes, 60, of Ellwood City, died Thursday October 8, 2020, in Heritage Valley Beaver.
Daughter of the late William & Phyliss (Freed) Romigh, Rose was born December 29, 1959 in Beaver Falls. She worked for over 25 years for the Community College of Beaver County in various departments where she found great joy in helping others, impacting the lives of many through her dedication and compassion. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a servant’s heart, finding great joy in caring for her family. Rose enjoyed the outdoors with her family by spending time at Deer Creek, Cook Forest, Conneaut Lake, and Pymatuning. She also displayed a fondness for Siamese cats.
Rose is survived by her two sons, Clay & Elizabeth Grimes, Evans, GA and Brad Grimes, Ellwood City as well as three brothers William Romigh, Monaca; Harry & Ruth Romigh, Darlington; and James Romigh, Niceville, FL. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Janice Romigh, Beaver Falls; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Zachodni and a brother Edward Romigh.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation. Her family and close friends will gather at a later date to celebrate her life through a small memorial ceremony.
