Ruth (Beighley) Stitt

Ruth (Beighley) Stitt, 93, of Brighton Township and formerly of Swissvale, passed away Thurs. July 22,2021 at Friendship Commons where she resided.

Ruth was born on December 13,1927 in Beaver Falls to the late Edward “Sam” and Catherine (Bell) Beighley.

She was a member of the former College Hill Presbyterian Church and a current member of Immanuel Baptist Church in New Brighton.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth McDowell and her second husband, William Stitt; a sister, Dorothy Small; a brother, Robert McCoy and a son-in-law, James McCausland.

Surviving are her two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah and Peter Klos, Columbia, MD and Katherine McCausland, Venice, FL; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Friday, August 13, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801 Fourth Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls. Pastor Doug Toth will officiate.

Private inurnment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
