Shirley (Schriner) Butcher

    Shirley (Schriner) Butcher, 79, of South Beaver Township passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021.

    She was born on July 7th, 1942 in Eastvale to the late Robert W. Schriner Sr. & Ethel (Miller) Schriner. Shirley was a member of First United Presbyterian Church Darlington. She retired as an assistant manager from the former K-Mart in Chippewa Twp. after 17 years.

    She will be sadly missed by her two sons and daughters-in-law, David C., Jr. & Teresa Butcher and Daniel C. & Kimberly Butcher, all of Chippewa Twp.; a daughter, Darla C. Butcher, also of Chippewa Twp.; eight grandchildren, David “D.J” Marissa, Ashley & her fiancée Dan Leger, Brandon and Joshua Butcher, Ryan, Hannah and Peyton Hastings; a grand daughter-in-law, Yanessi Butcher; two great grandchildren, Skylar and Harper Butcher; a sister and brother-in-law, Darlene R. & Charles Ellefson, Chippewa Twp. and a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth & Kathryn Schriner, Salt Lake City, UT.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Butcher in 2002; a grandson, Joseph Butcher; three brothers, Dennis J., Robert W., and John H. Schriner and two sisters, Edith Bailey and Sandra K. Blessing.

    Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hill & Kunselman Funeral Home, www.hillandkunselman.com, 3801-4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010, where a service will be held Saturday at 12:00 Noon with the Rev. C. F. Hoffman officiating.

    Interment will follow in Seceder Cemetery, South Beaver Township. Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001
