Sue A. Svihra

Sue A. Svihra, 55, of New Galilee and formerly of Ellwood City, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at UPMC Montefiore after a lengthy illness.

Sue was a daughter of the late Charles and Phyllis (Evans) Truby, born on February 7, 1965 in Ellwood City. She was formerly employed by the Chippewa Giant Eagle in the Hot Food Dept. then as a Cashier. Sue enjoyed reading, camping and traveling.

Surviving is her husband of 27 years, Justin Svihra, New Galilee; two daughters, Eliza R. Svihra and Krysta L. Svihra, both of Darlington Twp.; her mother-in-law, Louise Svihra, Enon Valley; a sister, Diana Truby, Ellwood City; two step brothers, Fred and Frank Sparling and three step sisters, Lara Ott, Rose Bailey and Cassandra Epstein.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Robert Svihra and a brother, Jack Truby.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the HILL AND KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, www.hillandkunselman.com , 3801 Fourth Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls where a service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Travis Coon will officiate.
