Terry Lee Uslenghi

Terry Lee Uslenghi, 78, of Beaver Falls, passed away due to multiple health complications on October 5, 2023, in Cambridge Village with his loving wife and daughters at his side.

Born on April 7, 1945, in Beaver Falls, PA, he was a son of the late Joseph Ambrose and Lousie (Clerici) Uslenghi. He graduated from Beaver Falls High School and The American Institute of Baking.  Terry was in the United States Army Reserves.  He worked at Babcock and Wilcox for over 20 years, was co-owner of Uslenghi Brothers Unlimited and Uslenghi Candies.  He was the owner of the Uslenghi Mini Market, in Beaver Falls.  He attended Saint Monica Roman Catholic Church, previously a member of St. Rose and St. Ann’s church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. Terry was a very social person and a great friend to many.  He loved to bowl in his younger years and had many enjoyable days on the golf course and at the LMBA Club for Old Man Bocce. Later, he enjoyed wood-working and creating stained glass projects for his family and friends.  Raising his three (3) daughters was one of his proudest accomplishments and he was overjoyed by his 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  Everyone who knew Terry knows a tear would fall when he would talk about his family.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Berresford.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife, Betsey and his daughters, Jennifer Uslenghi; Janelle (Jason) McCarter; and Jolene (Chris) Williams; grandchildren, Natalee (Robert) Schuman, Sydney (Nicholas) DiGregorio, Luke McCarter, and Carter Williams; great-grandchildren, Robert III and Elizabeth; brothers, Ronald (Cheryl) Uslenghi; Larry (Margaret) Uslenghi; and John (Lori) Uslenghi as well as his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.  

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, INC.; www.hillandkunselman.com .  3801 4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in St. Augustine Parish ( St. Monica) 116 Thorndale Drive, Beaver Falls, with Fr. John Naugle as Celebrant.  Everyone is asked to meet at the Church on Monday.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Cambridge Village and ProMedica Hospice for the compassionate care they provided Terry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Augustine’s Church, Beaver Falls, Pa.

Private Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Boro.
